Meet the Designer

I’m a Japanese garden designer devoted to both tradition and innovation.
Trained in Kyoto and refined through hands-on work in Ibaraki, I now create gardens in Kagoshima that blend Kyoto-style aesthetics with modern living.
Each stone and moss reflects harmony, stillness, and the spirit of nature.
ZenNiwa is my expression of timeless Japanese beauty.

Signature Gardens & Stonework

Welcome to ZenNiwa.
I design Japanese gardens that reflect the true essence of Japan — where space, silence, and nature find harmony.

These gardens are more than scenery; they are living expressions of art and culture, shaped by emptiness, balance, and beauty.

With stone, moss, and water, I craft intimate spaces that invite reflection, peace, and a deeper connection to the timeless spirit of Japan.

A modern Japanese garden where natural stone walls in irregular shapes blend harmoniously with a white gravel karesansui (dry landscape).

Stepping stones rest gently on a carpet of moss, while deciduous trees express the passing of seasons throughout the space.

Each stone was carefully hand-laid to preserve its natural texture, and the traditional bamboo fence in the background adds a timeless Japanese character to this contemporary design.
